Technical Specialists serve as first points of contacts for students and other business offices regarding matters related to their areas, including acting as primary liaisons for their areas to Undergrad Studies, University Advising, One Stop, Graduate Studies, Financial Aid, Admissions, etc. They are responsible for developing and implementing business practices for their areas that are in compliance with University policies, academic requirements and legal requirements (FERPA, etc). They will be responsible for keeping up to date on academic and University policies associated with their areas and be able to apply those policies and practices to their particular area of responsibility. Registrar Technical Specialists are responsible for carrying out the regular business practices associated with each of those areas.
